A friendship takes two to keep it going. So be the first to give of yourself -- your time and attention. (If we all kept waiting for the other to act, there would be no friendships at all in the world!) Of course, you can't always put the other's needs first -- after all, you have needs and responsibilities too -- just sometimes. If, after repeated attempts, you get no response, at least you'll know you've given it your best... And when you find the love of your life, you'll really want to give of yourself (as should they for you), even and especially when it's hard (because of ill feelings or a bad experience), because that's what love is. And that takes commitment!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
