Horoscopes and Astrology .

I was never really a firm believer in the stars playing some type of role in who we are or the type of person we become, but sometimes the descriptions of one's horoscope sign is absolutely uncanny. While most things related to horoscopes are usually short anecdotes followed by some absurd suggestion for you to follow that day, I wanted to delve a little bit deeper into what the definition of "me" was. Upon finding an in-depth definition of Scorpio (my sign), I was shocked at the almost complete similarity between the descriptive profile and myself.

I think there might be something more to be desired here. It's quite possible that perhaps the stars do play a more major role other than simply existing in the sky. I'm a believer in the idea that people radiate auras (mixtures of blue and red colors, that some people with acute skills can actually see. My friend's mother can see auras, and can instantly tell how you are feeling based on the color. Amazing that you can read someone like a book like that. Wouldn't it be nice? Perhaps this is a skill that can be learned.

In any event, horoscopic definitions may very well be a load of poppycock that someone made up. It could also be completely accurate. It's all what you believe to be true. Regardless, I think that delving into this information a little more actually can yield an awakening to the types of people that are out there, and how to interact with one another. Successful interaction yields friendships and relationships and connections. Understanding how oneself functions and thinks in relation to the rest of the world is an important bit of knowledge to have. And so tonight, I'll just start reading through the things that are supposed to make up me. If you follow the link above, you can find all the other signs too. Happy reading!

  1. I have friends who believe VERY strongly in this sort of thing. I would like to bit I have a reason that I can't: The description of a Virgo (which is what I am) is the polar opposite of my personality lol. Of course I could just be a fluke (wouldn't be the first time since I'm a bit of an oddball).

P.S. I am thinking about starting a monthly guest guest post soon and I really would like you to be one of the first ones Greg. I have a feeling my readers would really love your posts since we have similar blogging styles. Would you be interested?

  2. Astrology....I'm all over it. Well not really, but I do find knowing a person's sign can really tell you more about them. So greg, you're a Scopio and Keith, you're a Virgo. Kinda not surprised by this. Interesting....

  3. : )), you sound so like me, going back few years... I wasn't much into it, until I realised I am a magnet to people born on the same day and month and year! And personality similarities are never ending! Just think, there's a Moon affecting rivers and seas on this planet, why is it not possible to affect our behaviour too? And if the moon is capable of doing so...?

    : ) x
