it might be time .

I think... that maybe it's time to give music a real shot. I don't mean as a career, but I do mean to really explore the possibilities with what I can do. I have been so gifted in so many things... and I'd like to think that music is one of them. I'm embarrassed to say that my guitar has sat under my bed collecting dust, and I probably haven't picked it up and really played for awhile in almost a year... maybe more. That thing used to be my baby, and now I've let it fall into neglect beyond comprehension. I miss it...

down the road .

It's always great to think about the future. Life down the road, you know? It's great to review where you've been, and where you're going. It's even great to take a step back and look at the big picture of the present. I had the pleasure of having a good talk with one of my roommates about all of this... and being that he is a few years ahead of me and thus a bit farther down the road of life, it's always interesting to hear about a different perspective on various things, mainly related to occupation, career, and other things of that nature.

real life .

Recently some buddies and I have been trying to solidify our living situation for the next academic year. Living at the Reserve is easy enough, because I literally just pay my rent and that's about it. There's no bills (with the exception of electric, but Zach takes care of that and we all pay him back) which is so easy. So for next year, we're looking for a house -- like, a house house. Something that will be off campus, but not just in an apartment complex.

random search .

I opened Blogspot tonight not having a clue of what to write about. Nothing hit me today, and so I took to Youtube to randomly click through some videos and see if anything inspired me. It's quite rare that I don't have something to write about, what with the quotes I receive daily, daily devotionals, and other little tidbits that get emailed to me or thrown my way. I found this video, a trailer by Red Bull for a video called the Art of Flight, featuring Travis Rice.
