This week's song is a new addiction, called Illmerica by Wolfgang Gartner.
There are several draws for me for this song. First of all the beat and the music is awesome -- after all this is music monday... But a lot of it is the video. The group are not American, and it's sort of their take on the American history and it's really supposed to portray America in a negative sort of light... which is not a good thing, but it really makes you think. It takes a lot of really important historical things and mixes them all together into one big mess of mush. Enjoy this video and of course the song, and take a moment to really reflect on the all the things that have happened as a part of this country..
