In keeping with what I mentioned in an earlier blog post, I've been picking up my guitar and playing when I can. I'm gonna start pumpin' out some songs, too. Or at least that's the plan. Time management is a real doozy sometimes... But what I did want to say is that I'm going to put my original stuff on hold for the time being. Instead, I'm gonna cover some stuff. Maybe even put it up on Youtube. Which, would, of course, entail me actually playing the stuff and filming it... but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
More importantly, the goal here is to cover some songs in a sort of acoustic style (sort of an unplugged version), but also to cover songs that you wouldn't think of or expect to show up as an acoustic song. I've picked the first one and looked up the chords today, and it should be really interesting! Lyrically, it's not much... can't even lie there. But I think it'll be really interesting to start playing and see how it turns out. I'll keep you guys updated in my musical ventures as I complete things. And of course, there will be links to stuff when it's finished. Always great to have a little audience to build off of!
