just hangin' with the guys .

Hello all. So I know I haven't written in a few days. I've been a little busy, but aren't we always? Normally I make time to write, but I guess I just didn't the past few days. I'll catch up in the end. So! That bein' said... this weekend has been absolutely excellent thus far. I'm sure tomorrow will be less exciting (I plan on filling it with studying and work on my architecture project, which is in dire need of it) and so I've left myself in a bit of a hole as far as work is concerned, but you know what? Once in a while we all need a break.


I used to play baseball in high school -- and way before, too, actually. I am a 13 year veteran of the sport. I haven't played officially since I got cut senior year of high school, and I'm not much into watching the sport, but I did decide to go to the game today, especially after an invite to a tailgate. Now, whether you like the sport of baseball or not, tailgating is always a blast.

And that's really it man. This weekend has been a ball. Hanging with some old friends, chatting over a few (or maybe a lot) of brewskies, and just enjoying the weather. It's what college is all about (after academics of course). Certainly gonna be weird leaving all these guys next year. Also I have to say... my arms... are so red... I am absolutely toasted and roasted. That damn sun. I've been there before though; sunburn is fine, it could be much worse.

And on that note, though this is a short post, I'm going to leave you with a bit of gold. Admittedly I was SO skeptical about this, but was extremely pleasantly surprised. So watch this:

Now I really like Ke$ha's stuff, even if her music is absurd, ridiculous, and uses insane amounts of auto tune. But this time there is no electronic tweaks. There is no blaring pop music, or a music video with dancing zebras. This is straight up and real shit. So mad props... to doing justice to an already fabulous song. Love me some Bob Dylan.
